Because the new date for the last round of the North Coast Series falls on the same date as the trophy day, Mnsw is not able to issue us with a permit to run the Trophy day on the 5th July as planned. This means we have had to change the date of our Trophy day, at our last club meeting on Tuesday it was decided that we should run it on the 28th of June instead.
We have now got everything in place to run the trophy day on the 28th June. There will be a working bee on next Saturday to try and get everything ready for Sunday, gates will open at 8:30am and we will be there until about 2:00pm. There will be plenty to do so if you can get out and help out for a while it would be much apprieciated.
We are looking for a couple of members who have some knowledge of the EXCEL programme and can help on Sprint race days. At this time we only have one who can set up the scoring programme for a sprint and with the clubs new policy of having back up of all jobs we would like to train a couple of members.
If you are at all interested in this, come and see me on Sunday or contact Bruce Andrews and we will show you what is involved.
Hi All,
This weekend the Pony Express has been called off and instead we will be re- running the washed out RD 1 sprint. So that means that there will be no Saturday racing and all racing will be on Sunday only. There will be a working bee on Saturday now, for those that can get out to help Gates open at 8:30am. We will make a decision about the new date for the Pony Express soon and post it on the web site.
Thanks
Bruce
